but is there any news on the five a side pitches. I know its only been 4 days but have the diggers moved any earth around yet? Also are there any photos of the ground breaking "ceromony". I suppose there were photos in the local papers, but for us poor exiles can we get one or two put on the development pages on the website. All answrers greatly recieved!!!

I went up to ground on Wednesday morning Steve and certainly there was activity going on then. Not seen the local paper yet but am sure there will be something in there, if I get a chance tonight will try and scan it on here, tho AB is much cleverer than me at this.

At least we had the photo of that hypocritical twat with Colin and Malcolm.

 

Anyone remember when HE decided that the council were not going to discuss the future of the club and the redevelopment in the first 5 minutes of a meeting without giving any reason.

 

I was an Exile then and heard it live on Radio Kent.

He just announced the matter was not going before the council without explanation and we then had to wait about 6 months before anything else was allowed to go before the council.

 

Hold him solely to blame for the trouble that led us to leave the Conference, so his claim to support the club leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth

Well the news is there is nothing in the local paper re this. The only mention is on the sports page about Margate looking to top of a good week after work started on 5 a sides, by trying to beat Chatham.

 

There is a couple of pages on Neil Chester, the lottery winner, who is 6 foot 6, had trials as a goalie for Man Utd. The paper mentions things he could spend some monies on, one being he could drop Man U and buy Margate.............we wish ehh!!!
