urchins 0 - 2 romford F/T

just got back, left with a couple of minutes left to get a lift.

Attendance 231,more romford fans but in truth most were chav friends of the players.

we started well and played nice footy with no end result, missed a couple of one on ones and then romford scored.

Second half the urchins were pushing forward and a mistake at the back made it 2-0 to romford.

I was dissapointed in the boys second half performance, too many stray passes and too many flash little flicks which gets you no where at this level. After seeing them last season i expected a bit more from them but hopefully it was a poor night.

The Romford bench were very vocal as usual,a little too much for my liking, which is funny because our friend zody used to say on the forum how bad it was that parents and coaches get too animated and involved in youth football.Well practice what you preach as some of the over aggresiveness has definatly rubbed off on most off your team.

A little dust up at the end as the romford chav number 2 decided to kick off for no reason, then the ref booked the wrong two players. All in all romford deserved it as they had more will to win in the second half.

it was a 50/50 tackle and your bloke reacted to it first but it was something over nothing and the ref managed to book two of the players who were trying to break it up

This is what happened - it was a 50-50 tackle approx ten yards from the half way line and 15 yards from the touchline on the Bridge Avenue side of the ground, at he East Side, and the referee, in the centre circle, blew up and indicated a drop ball. He did not award a free kick.

Both players got up, and at that point it could have all stopped, but seven more - yes seven - Romford players all rushed towards the HFC player, who understandably pushed one of them back - the HFC player was forced backwards about 30 yards, with the referee continually blowing his whistle, chasing after the Romford pack. Two Romford players (names and numbers known but withheld) should have received a red card. The Romford player who was booked was not the main culprit and he did not deserve to be booked.

>>>I don't remember the ref backing up 30 yards and i didn't see anything that deserved a red card from any player there

You really needed to have been there.

You also really needed to read what I wrote - I did not say the ref (I used the correct term - referee) was backing up 30 yards.

I said >> the HFC player was forced backwards about 30 yards, with the referee continually blowing his whistle, chasing after the Romford pack

You say you did not see anything that deserved a red card. Perhaps you were not there. Perhaps you prefer ice hockey.

there was a group of romford chavs chasing one of our players and he couldn't get away as more and more came to have a go.I thought the chavs got on the pitch but low and behold they were actually romford players.

You can take the boy out of romford

But you can't take romford out of the boy.CHAV SCUM
