Cove Have A Little Problem

I turned up at Cove last night for a youth match we had against them.

 

Got changed went out fot the warm up, and came back in to get ready for the kick off. Everything Ok at this point.

 

We come out of the changing rooms ready to start to see only the floodlights to the left of us not on and that side of the pitch in darkness.

 

The referee and the two managers conversate for about 10 minutes while the Cove people try to reboot the lights.

 

About another 10 minutes later they decide to postpone the game as there was no chance of getting the lights on.

 

They must have a problem now of getting the money together to pay for new floodlights.

Thats what happens when you pay too much for players eh!!!!

Perhaps they had an electrical problem FF ?

Possible but two floodlights were fully working, but someone did say that the bulbs on the side affected had been very weak recently and would need to be replaced. He said each bulb costed £100! and there was 5 out.

May be no one could find the matches to light the candles !!!!

Maybe a certain newly signed player will come to the rescue....

 

I DO wish PB would get hold of some crystal-ball cleaner !
