Rothwell away form dismal but a draw and win at home.

Posters on ETFC's recent game seemed to be very critical.

Fearless prediction (12000 km away) ETFC wins 3-1.

Yeah...probably wont make it tomorrow....have to go watch Collingullie/Ashmont-Kapooka(thats one team) v Northern Jets in the Farrer League Aussie Rules Grand Final...next Saturday it will be another Grand Final with either Mangoplah/Cookardinia or Wagga Tigers v Narrandera Eagles in the Riverina Football League....that Sunday I'll be playing golf at Tumut and the next weekend I'll be golfing at Merimbula...so the replay will have to be early October.

Means I'll have to vote absentee in the Federal elections but thats a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

PS If you can get a bet on get on Labor to win...$1.39 on Betfair and a living certainty.

Was the 'thoings' deliberate...a crack at my accent....or a typo?

The AFL...I'm a disappointed Western Bulldogs member (10/16) so my views are jaundiced.

Geelong won 15 in a row and are the hot favourites($1.60) to take out the flag and Garry Ablett Jnr to win the Brownlow Medal.

Collingwood knocked out West Coast last night after extra time (72-72 at full time)and they will play Geelong next week for a place in the Grand Final.

Kangaroos play Hawthorn (How did they get there?)today to see who plays Port Adelaide in the other Semi-Final.

Gelong are going to be hard to beat.

Just watched good YouTube clip on AFL...Goals, biffs, marks and bumps...it was on a shares forum I use...worth a look.

Used to love watching AFL back in the late 80s and Hawthorn were my side. Saw them play West Coast Eagles for the Fosters CUp at the Kennington Oval once. A great sport.

Bad news....they were rolled by North Melbourne (now the Kangaroos...as they look like relocating to Karrarra on the Queensland Gold Coast)last night.

Kangaroos play Port Power (Port Adelaide) in one semi while Geelong play Collingwood in the other..winners to the Grand Final (Geelong hot favourites...$1.60)

Aussie Rules is fast moving, dynamic and spectacular as well as being physically demanding.

I like football for its skills, tactics and suspense.

If you look at the photos on flikr. You can clearly see that Charlie was impeded for the first goal.

 

What is worse is that the ref had a clear view so why did he allow the goal and, further, why did he book Charlie for dissent when Charlie was merely pointing out to him what was obvious.
