I must say,whilst Charley has done incredibly well this month with his four strikes & generally taken his chance well to get a first team spot,having been given the opportunity to do to so, I could have picked a couple of players out who maybe were more consistent over the whole month. Particularly in defence where to my mind Danny Young has been exceptional,yet he is not in the top 5.

Rob Haworth,before his injury was superb,Jay Saunders too had an excellent month as did they all to be fair.Then there's Jacko,who without,we find hard to break opponents down.He is one hell of an important part of this team & never lets us down.

I suppose you could pick out 11 players really who had a chance of this award this month & that at least shows in the voting stats as I see the top 5 in total recieved 56% of the vote therefore theres still 44% of the vote still outstanding, spread around the others in the squad. Surprised Paul Axon got second place having not had a full start as yet.Still it was a good team performance all round this month I thought rather than the individual but Charley came out top so congratulations to you Charley. Keep knocking them in!

Pleased for Charlie but his hat trick was actually in September so he must be in line for that award too.

Oh yes,thats true Alan. Baffling even more so now then(without taking anything away from his input).Maybe voters overlooked that fact when voting.As you say he has a good start then for this months award too.
