Krooner - if we were talking about someone who had made a couple of outlandish, and possibly ill-advised, statements about an individual then I would be inclined to agree. However, what we are talking about here is somebody who has been undertaking a one-man persecution of another individual for approximately one calendar year. And let us not forget that, a short while previous to all of this, the two men were working "together" on the same committee at the same club. I would be very surprised if Mr. Achillea did not make some effort at reasonable negotiation before eventually saying enough is enough and sacking clip Rods from his position at the club.

I appreciate it is a subject that people don't like to touch on in forums such as this but, let's face it, clip Rods very clearly has mental issues as there is no logical reason for the attitude and demeanour he displays so consistently here on a variety of different subjects. Every attempt to put this down to stupidity and to try and highlight this in an effort to show him how embarrassing he is being meets with ignorance and incomprehension on his part.

No, inviting clip Rods into the ground for a discussion would prove absolutely fruitless and very frustrating. If that frustration then came out in the wrong way, the consequences could be very costly in different ways for both parties so I think that the ban is the best option given the circumstances.

Come on Krooner, getting rhodesy to talk in a grown up manner is like asking a lino to correctly apply the rules of association football (i.e. next to impossible)!

I agree. Rhodes should face the person he has been having a go at for the past year. I'd like to see if dares to turn up - as he lives close by there's no excuse not to. Kentish Town Reserves haven't a game that day currently.

Hey listen Kroonster, when I joined this forum I couldn't believe all this rubbish with Cec and the bag of Tate of Lyle's finest at Coles Park. I suggested more than once that a meet, a sit-down, a parlee, whatever you want to call it was the way forward. It was quite clear from Cec's point of view that he wasn't interested in that kind of way forward.

I've come to the conclusion that Cec revels in his noteriety for slagging off Sugar and like Maggie T, is not for turning. I truly believe that whilst the IRA were worth negotiating with, Cec in this instance is not and to that end Henry Kissinger, Boutros Boutros Galli and Kofi Annan have all been sent home.

Rules?

No such thing.

Try Laws of the Game.

What game you been watching?

I will touch on some of the other posts on this thread later when I have more time but this one from Krooner stood out and he seems to be the most sensible member on the Forum at the moment. I'm more than happy to get around a table with 'Sugar' at Coles Park, or on neutral territory, and it would be a great idea if Football Man sat in too to be a mediator as he always has so much to say on the matter

Wader - I don't delight in criticising 'Sugar' in the slightest and like I've stated before I don't have anything against him personally. He is just not a football man in the true sense of the word and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the helm of a football club even on a Sunday over Hackney Marshes, Haringey Borough have the potential to get to the Conference in a short space of time if run properly, and then in time the Football League, but under 'Sugar' they are going in the opposite direction, that's not just coincidence.
