Dorking 2-3 Guildford

The Chicks fell to another defeat, quickly falling 2 behind in the first half and looking very poor. After conceding a third early in the second half the Chicks suddenly decided to start playing and it wasn't long before they had 2 back. They gave it a good go in the last 20 minutes but couldn't make the breakthrough whilst a decent Guildford side were always swift and purposeful on the counter attack. Much like the previous game i've seen this season (v Colliers Wood), the Chicks don't seem to want to start playing until they are 3 behind.

 

Couldn't place anyone that fitted the description of Big JR, so am none the wiser on that one!

you do seem to be a bit of a jonah TRS....firstly the galactico saturday wedding woofters plummeting into the intermediate leagues and now your other team dorking losing to a sunday pub team....

join the urchins 'afore its all too late dear boy....you know it makes sense... grin

Great win for Guildford

Shame I could not say the say for me in the game I played in.

Lost 4-3 to Christchurch.

Thought I did alright apart from one of the goals but made a good account of myself.

Nice little ground, pitch and club house they have.

Seven first teamers missing from the squad says the website,injuries and suspensions. (suspensions already?)

 

It will be very difficult to keep any decent team together this year, getting stuffed each week, no real club spirit as everyones new, and a battle to stay off the bottom.

 

Probably no relegation again this year, so very difficult to motivate anyone.

 

Long hard season of nothing. And it's early September!

I have had a read of anothers promotion relegation page.

Assuming Dorking's run of bad luck stops , there seems no guarantee of promotion either, even if the mighty chicks win the league.

 

Has the combined counties league said how many sides will be in each division next year and what the up/down criteria is?

 

Is it up to the FA ?
