PE Bedford Town V Broxbourne Boro! (THE BIG GAME)

Recommended Posts

If we're talking T shirts, mine goes up to the Conference.

Dedication is a key word here Saf. When I hear of players out late clubbing on a Friday, eating kebabs and curry's and quaffing lager whenever their fancy takes it, missing training with lame excuses and going on holiday at ridiculous times, playing Sunday morning football and throwing out their dummies when they're not picked, that word dedication gets more and more important. It depends what a player wants from his talents - a laugh with his mates or success in football at a good level. I make no judgement, there's plenty of room for both. Those who achieve and those who don't. Achievment doesn't have to mean trophies - it's a personal thing as well.

You don't have to be a naturally brilliant footballer to succeed, Gary Lineker never was the natural player, his brother was. Wayne chose the social highlife whilst Gary remained on the training field. The results of that speak for themselves.

Haha, let's just say then that if you've got the dedication for this match, then you stand every chance of pulling off a surprise. Play to your own strengths, work effing hard and make their lives miserable. Let them worry about being prima-donnas, you lot put in the graft and work as a team. Again, good luck.

NF is that charity game at hoddy still on?

I need to show Malders i can move out of the centre circle!

I think this topic has got out of control! can see different peoples views, i know a lot of ryman prem players that have no ability wat so ever but will run through brick walls, and not drink except for mayb a few after footy on a saturday!

People could move up from this level but choose not to!!

A certain Hertford striker for example, but he stayed at hertford no doubt for the banter and he knows he can stand out at this level!

Yes, if you want to play phone Jim Briggs.. his number is on the Hoddy website. Are sure though? Isn't it a bit beneath a Ryman Prem quality player.... doh laugh

Great atmosphere on saturday, the bedford fans were fantastic, didnt stop singing the whole way through!! The had a song for maybs that cracked me up! "the number 4 is barrymore"

I actually won that header in that picture, thats goin in the scrap book!

Very biased but expected report, they dominated the first 20 mins of the game, and we battered them for 25 mins in the second half, the rest of the game was very even!!

Also in that report it was me that hit the free kick that set up the goal not lee mitchell!!

In the NLT it gave Saf man of the match, he played very well like every1 did but i think he will agree MOM should have been joel or Michael Noble, they were immense!!

You beat me to it about the free kick blues06! I wasn't there but I knew it must have been the other Mitchell! I didn't like the unnecessary comment about your ground! - make em have it in the replay!

I thought that was a bit out of order, they dont appreciate the hard work that goes into running clubs at this level! They were really big time, would be nice to stuff them on tuesday!

Good luck 2nite in ur replay, spoke to Lee Roberts last night, he reckons u should win comfortably!

"Broxbourne’s pitch was good but the other facilities ranged from

temporary to decaying – but these are the grounds you have to visit in the FA Cup."

Wow, let's hope they draw a proper sh*t hole next then!

Thanks. Apart from gifting them 3 goals, we murdered 'em. Bet their 5 doesn't start tonight! And their manager will have to be a very forgiving guy to start their 9, after his tantrums when they subbed him! Lee has been outstanding this season, just needs to score a few more.
