England 1 down with 10 mins to play came back to lead 2-1(Kelly Smith 2) only for Japan to equalise with the last kick of the game(94th min). England should have been away and gone & dominated,with numerous efforts on goal but to be fair the ball didn't seem to want to go in the net until those last 10 minutes when the luck & the bounce went our way but the Japanese played good controlled football themselves without really asserting any pressure on Englands defence.

Japan really only had 2 real shots all game,both free kicks outside the area but what 2 great free-kicks. Watch highlights tonight,worth watching again.

The mighty Germans up next On Friday "live" on BBC 2 1pm.

England will do well to even get a point off the Germans but who knows.

Pretty gutted, as I set my PVR to record the game, and last night's highlights of Germany v Argentina, then forgot we switch all electrical items off all over the house becasue Watch the puppy from hell has discovered the joys of chewing.

So now no ladies tonight, as a treat for working all day.

WOMENS WORLD CUP

After a previous & tremendous 0-0 draw with the mighty Germans, today they thrash Argentina 6-1 to go marching into the Quarter Finals "live" on BBC 2 Saturday 1pm. Possibly U.S.A next up.
