Agree to some extent mate but why should a ref take all the abuse he gets throughout a game then side with that team on a slight 50/50 decision? I agree that, in a perfect world, they should be totally 100% honest, but players arent so why should they be? If im working behind a busy bar and there's 1 person that keeps calling 'Barman, barman' im not gonna run straight to him and serve him (well not if there's a nice bird with big knockers at the other end of the bar anyway!). What amazes me the most is when players argue with the ref, argue with the oppo and shout at their own team mates as well as trying to play football. All the time they are argueing they are being distracted from what they are out there to do in the first place - play football.

It's all too easy for players to blame refs when things aren't going well or you lose games. Yes, hands held up, i was never an angel on the pitch or early management years but i see things slightly different at the moment.

And that is what Refs have to face from managers and players all the time. Oh look an official made a mistake and because of that all officials are crap. If it is so damned easy Mick why do you not do it. There needs to be dialogue between officials and players and this sort of attitude will just widen the gap that everyone perceives to be there.

Excessive bookings which were not justified. The only true booking was the card for the second booking which I will not argue. Also what if we are still arguing a decision that has totally ruined a game 10 minutes after it happened. It is called passion for the game which some of the officials could learn to have, instead of pulling up, reffing 5 games a week and be happy with the cash in hand they collect.

You a good mate SL but that is shocking accusation that you make. I could name the number of officials that do it for the money on one hand. I spoke with someone that was at your match on Saturday and they told me the only caution they thought was wrong was the 1st caution to the player who was sent off for 2 cautions. If you are still harping on about a decision that happened 10 minutes earlier then you have lost all concentration and will be giving an advantage to the opposition.

And finally here is one for you.

Not one of the players or managers on here can moan when they appeal for throw ins, corners, goal kicks etc that they KNOW is not theirs. It is called cheating. When yuo all stop cheating all the officials will become brilliant and there will never be any problems. Before slagging me off for that just have a think about it.

I agree Kroons it is cheating when the players appeal knowing its not their throw/corner etc. But when you cant rely on the official getting it right (sometimes) then you have to result to " whoever shouts loudest gets the decision".
