These are, in my opinion, the best album closing tracks...

 

 

1. I Am The Resurrection - 8-minute epic from The Stone Roses' debut

2. A Day In The Life - last song on Sgt Pepper

3. Champagne Supernova - fitting end to the best album of the 90's

4. Looking Glass - frantic final track on The La's album

5. Sproston Green - belting song to wrap up the Charlatans' Some Friendly

I can't disagree with any of these. It's a shame that so many artists just put a collection of their latest tracks on a cd, rather than recording them as an album.I wouldn't go as far as a concept album, but I think you know what I'm talking about.

No way, Definitley Maybe was the best album of the '90s in which case you have to have Married With Children(although CS is a class song!)
If only Slide Away had been the last song...

I have to aggree with the stone roses.

 

I must say that a track called "girls can keep a secret" off the final Carter album "I blame the government" is such a beautiful song that is is also a fitting end to their career as well (even through it was a very slow song and they were better known for loud guitars - but nevermind)
