Cookie I will keep you updated on here throughout the season, but we don't claim to be the supporters team. We've made a start under the name FC Ultras (with Dover's home kit design but in light pink and black) and we only actually have a minority of Margate supporters in the team. That's myself, Kev, Chris, Alex and Kieran. Dave is manager and also registered as a player in an emergency. But please come along and watch and see some good football. We certainly try and play to our strengths, which isn't really the physical stuff - that's also our downside. Next game is Sunday at 10.30am at Garlinge Rec v ABS.

FIRST POINT

No referee so was called in to officiate this game today. Ultras took their first point but must surely feel they have dropped two points.Only a super goal(similar to that of Skinners yesterday) denied them all three points plus an outstanding point blank save by the opposing keeper.

I believe the opposition(don't know their name)have started the season well with 3 wins too. Oh, & Rob scored again with an easy tap in from a pin point pass across goal.

Ultras did well today & final result was 1-1.

Thanks Cookie for at very short notice coming along and refereeing. Was a good game, and we were the better side. Everyone worked hard and it shows the progress has been made and as a new team this was always going to be a learning curve. We're on that curve now and now off the mark with a point and eager to add to that.

Not biting, but we all know that's not the story of the truth laugh
Another two new players signed up this week, both ex-reserves at Ramsgate and someone else who was watching today that has played Premier Division football for a long time will be joining, the future's bright, the future's pink.
