Cray Wanderers - the omens are not great. Bromley is something of a bogey ground and Cray also ended our 78 game unbeaten run there too. Also, think they are doing quite well at the moment and with no strikeforce to speak of (Grazioli ineligible) then i'm not really expecting to be in the draw on BBC2 Monday lunchtime....

The gate was 473 and bearing in mind the previous home game attracted 66 (sixty-six) then I think we can safely say there were 400 or so away fans. Disgraceful I know and we obviously cannot compare with the Urchins away following, in the Carshalton crowd of 218 (although i'm sure 300 of those were urchins making the 95 mile trip grin)

we don't claim to be a big club who tout figures of 1-2000 travelling fans.

A few more than 66 leyton fans turned up as they thought they were playing a big club, seems that they were wrong both on and off the pitch.Bet you lot bring down no more than 200 to our place.

You really are Mr knowledgable aren't you - is there anything that you are not an expert on? grin

It tends to be fans of other clubs that expect us to bring 1-2000 fans (then have a go at us when 'only' 600 or whatever turn up) - if you look at our last couple of years in the Prem we generally take around 5-600 fans to games in Essex. If there is nothing riding on the last game at your place I would guess we will bring around 500. If it means something, probably double that as the gloryhunters will come out.

Meanwhile, I shall expect 500 or so Urchins for your visit to Kingsmeadow in a few weeks (using the Hornchurch abacus of course) grin

but that would be just under half of our average home gate whereas your away support is about 1/4.
This means we are a better club than you.
CONSIDERABLY

Right, i've jotted that down and will be conducting a headcount on the day grin

Actually 250+ would be remarkable considering the paltry home gate you had against Harrow a couple of weeks back.....

Seriously. is the 2nd qualifying round draw live on BBC2?

Still over a 100 sides left in the competition. Can't believe the BBC would dedicate 30 minutes of their lunchtime schedule to cover non league teams.

Come to think of it, are the BBC covering the FA Cup this year? I think ITV won the right to show live games which means only one live game per round, no coverage of the First and Second rounds and generally [****!!****] coverage.

The ITV/Setanta deal doesn't start until next season and includes England games as well. I don't remember the details of the deal, but I think Setanta had most of the FA Cup games, so ITV will be limited to what is set down in the agreement. Setanta will also have FA Vase & Trophy rights from next season.
