i have it on good authority that the club have put two seperate bids in for sidwell at chelsea and iniesta of barcelona.Both players should be signing tuesday next week.Think we will be sorted then.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course,if we was chelmsford we could always moan about the length of the pitch as 0.565 of an inch is very long grass for a ryman side to have to play footy on.

Not a bad start to the season when you consider we were only promoted last year!

 

Mid table in a very compacted top half.

 

In fact all the promoted teams with the suprise exception of Maidstone have started well.

 

It's easy to think that because we were so convincing champions last season that we should be ahead of the likes of Harrow and Hastings, but it is a new league and reputations need to be made from the start.

Harlow have made a good start as well. Still think you'll finish in or around the play offs.

I am more than happy with our start.We have looked the better side in most of our matches and i am confident that as the season goes on we will gell more as a team and our forwards will find the net more and more,we have a good squad where others don't have such a luxury and once the injuries start kicking in at other clubs i think you will find that we will be in the top 6 for the rest of the season

It's the table at the end of April 2008 that counts, not the one in early September. Lots of water to flow under the bridge......

glad to be out of this tin pot league and away from these ghastly dead end clubs we have to play against on long grass...mud patches...all kicking us....no security...all only interested in nicking our money...much boycotting works...sue them all if they dare complain or win...we're on our way now thank god...just gotta deal with this two bob blue square nonsense and then we're back in the leagues......different in the old days of course...never had all this square bollox to go through...soon win the FA Cup again tho'...greyhounds anyone.... grin

10 grand a week? It was 15 grand last week wasn't it? Or is that your budget? I'm confused grin

As to the one forum to which you refer, it never has been switched off (unfortunately!) just on a different address temporarily due to some technical hitch which means nowt to me i'm afraid....
