Slough Town v Andover LATEST SCORE

Well we needed that and deserved it, and once we got the second started playing some good passing football. 2-1 did flatter them.

Woody was MOTM and Wilko was outstanding, and it was just great to see Slough win. Atmosphere in the second half in the covered end was great, lots of singing, lots to sing about! And lots of children there as well. Really great day out. Let's hope we can build on it.

Got back on a very busy England train with my lone Slough town top, trying to convince too young lads to watch Brighton rather than pretend to support Man United.

Thought several players had really good games. Browne and Daly woked well together in the centre of defence. Thought Jeffries and Davies combined well on the right side and Woody and Murphy on the left also worked really well. Good to see Wilko back and as always led by example.

Definately wasn't a free kick that led to their goal. Murphy played the ball and stood his ground.

Woody was definately my MOTM.

the last comment made by me was actually marcus - serves me right for leaving myself signed in...

anyway, just to echo everyone else's thoughts, it was so good to see the boys working so hard and getting a well deserved win. Woody was outstanding, easily MOTM and there wasn't a bad player on the pitch.

Also think its worth mentioning what a difference Lee Charles makes to the squad...although he didn't get a goal yesterday, he was consistently in the right position to receive crosses and terrorised Andover's defence all day long...

Bravo boys, let's keep the momentum going now...

It was a good performance. We played some really nice attractive football at times which was really pleasing. That has to be close to the strongest team we could field and it showed. Wilko was magnificent, leading by example. Woody had a cracking game that tackle and bit of skill to get up and get the cross in for Terry's winning goal was ace - the best thing he has done in a Slough shirt.
