It's not just the strikers at the moment. Most of the team are not playing brilliant football at the moment. They probably know it as well. So lets give them a bit of encouragement.

Nade made his first start of the season on Saturday, got injured early on at went off at half-time....you must be an excellent judge to be able to make your mind up that quickly youg feller the club should employ you as a scout.

Presumably if the club did call Akinde and Coleman back you would have give them a half each to proove themselves and if they didn't score pack straight back to Margate.

Yes i saw akinde play for 5 years when i was at school with him, i no he wa only young then but he was still realy good, unfortunately i havent seen him play very much for the fleet, which is obviously a lot different to playing at school but he is still a good player. i just think bringing him back will be good, it will give us another option up front which i think we need.

ten, every league game and friendlys, maybe akinde wont do better than him or chucki, but hes another option, we do only have 3 strikers, unless mcphee ever plays upfront.

Akinde did play for us in the friendly against Millwall last week and I am sure that we all hope that he has a succesful season at Margate and comes back a better player at the end of it.

Obviously he is one for the future and it would be in our interest for him to get plenty of starts for Margate but he appears to be their 4th choice striker behind Side, Howarth and Pinnock....I can't help feeling if they had the option of Chukki and Rafa then the 4 strikers they currently have would all drop two places in the pecking order.

We do need another forward but I don't think we will find him at Margate.

Akinde hasn't been very impressive so far.

 

He has been coming on for the last part of most matches with the exception of our last home game, where he came on for all but the first 20 minutes (when we were 3 up)

 

For a big lad he is rubbish in the air, but now and again shows great potential when the ball is put to his feet

 

I keep forgetting that he is only 18 and therefore is still on the learning curve

 

Your are right with regards to him being our 4 striker, but I believe he can also play in defence, an area in which we might be lacking if injuries start

 

Coleman on the other hand is brilliant

I was at school with Gary Julians ( in the same year anyway !!)......doesn't add anything to the debate, apart from that we had a reasonable grasp of English, but I thought I would just say that anyway !!
