Harrow V The Blues

Not the happiest of places for us in recent times and we all know what Harrow did at the wombles, with that coming off the back of a bad start for them. So, the question remains - Can we keep this good run going ourselves.

Deep down something keeps telling me that this Saturday will banish the Harrow blues we have had in the past.

Go on lads - You owe 'em one (especially from last season)

As well as Adamoah they have Onochie, a player that consistently scores goals in a struggling side. Hopefully we haven't picked up any injuries from Tuesday, otherwise same side for me. And why is it that when we go to Harrow, there's always a bloody England game going on?

Speaking of POINTS Gazza. 10/10 for that comment.

Another disappointing result at Harrow, but I'm slowly getting used to it.

I thought Harrow were excellent on the day, good finishing, they were first to most 50'50s and clearly won the midfield battle.

We never really looked comfortable yesterday, a little nervous I thought.

Good luck to Harrow, both on and off the field, and I shall look forward to a reversal of fortune when they visit New Lodge.

Great support again, Blue shirts all round the ground, and it was good to get a decent linesman at last.

Next up...THE FA CUP

C'mon you Bluuues

IMHO a very lacklustre team performance, of the like we haven't seen since er.... the last time we went to Harrow! With Game and Boot out we look limited on the bench, especially right midfield where Abbott was simply awful. You get days like this and the mark of a good team is how they bounce back in the next game. Hopefully, Welwyn will cop it!

Oh well. Still a chance to make ammends for last season at Ramsgate & Horsham; and they're not 'til Spring so we should be well in our stride by then grin

And fortunately for us we don't have to visit Slough this time whistle

It was a poor performance but the team will know that and I'm sure that their ears have taken a bit of GBH from Matt...actually, thinking about it, Grant will quite probably weigh in with a few words himself as he feels so passionate for the club and supporters... And Jason!!!??? Nah, no way would I wish to be in that changing room yesterday at 5 past 5 in the afternoon...

Still, Matt said, it's how you deal with situations like this and will expect the players to bounce back from this and not let it happen again (well, not in the forseable future).

There were some positives that came out of the game...Riki Burbridge played well when he came on, Wayne S did a solid job at right back, BWG gave us another opition on the right when he went wide...And the team performance was better in the second half although the "mountain" proved too high to climb...

One game lost does not make a season...Lets just "park" it, move on and look forward to visiting a new ground next week...
