....strangely enough, about three years ago, I broke the fifth metatarsal in my right foot, exactly the same injury as Michael
Owen. It must be a common occurence with us forwards....except that I did mine falling down a hole in the pub car park rather than playing for England ( or whoever he was playing for at the time ) !!!! Didn't it used to be called a broken foot a few years back ??

Anyway....if I can do it then it cannot be that difficult !! More roast dinners a ? No veg mind....yuk !!

Playing cricket about 15 years ago got a full toss from a quickie on top of my foot, Medway hospital had to cut my boot off.

Broken bone - 3 weeks in plaster - then back playing again. Your right - it was the roast dinners that helped (especially after 3 or 4 pints in the Borough Shades!!)

They don't make 'em like us anymore Hirsty, hewn from granite!!

Thats impressive CG. A full toss from a quickie on top of your foot. Was you standing up at the time?
