Black Armband !

Unless Tostao has had a family bereavement , I assume that the black armband on Saturday, was an 'Olongaesque' show of defiance, and a mourning of the ' Death of democracy' in Zimbabwe.

 

As someone who has spent time in Zim , in recent years, I salute Tos in his stance, and hope that the people of Zimbabwe will be given a chance. Its not all about the white farmers issue, there are millions of people repressed and kept down by Mugabes' reign.

 

Keep up the good work Tos !

 

 

If I had known Tos would eventually join the Fleet, I would have gone to watch him at CAPS united ( they play in Celtic green & white hoops style kit) , however , I chose the glamour boys of Zimbabwe dynamos, as my team to follow... well with the nickname of the glamour boys, they reminded me of the Fleet !!
