Congratulations to Saf06 on his impressive hat trick for Broxbourne at Bedford.

Did you go to Amersham today Rhodes? If so how did Kentish Town play, must be disappointed to have lost a goal lead, especially after your great result against Ampthill Town.

The Hertford match does sound a cracker, Tring coming from 3-1 down to 4-3 ahead before Hertford hit back and forced an equaliser, when is the replay, next week?

Damn I was hoping it would be the week after as I quite fancied going to that. Sounds a cracker you went to as well, Stotfold have had a decent start to this season but still I wouldn't have expected them to win 7-2! How much was it to get in?

The replay is on Tuesday at Hertingfordbury Park. If you have nothing better to do then come along as it may be an interesting affair. No doubt Horace will post the match report on the Hertford website, but it was a game of more than two halves (if that were possible). Tring went a goal up. Hertford came back and were three one up and sitting pretty at half time. Tring came back with avengeance second half and were 4-3 up halfway through the period, only for Ryan Wade to make it four all. Sorry to use cliches but it was a cracking cup tie. I would also like to add, now having made it quite clear which team I support, that Tring were excellent hosts and one of the nicest clubs I have visited in many a year. I look forward to renewing our acquaintences on Tuesday night.

Our strikers are unable to do much as the midfield don't pass anything to them - we are $hit at the mo. Think we need a major shake up at the club from management level down to teaboy!!

Rant over (must be PMT lol)

..
Oh dear, the wheels on the Canvey caravan seemed to have come off very early this season!

Defeats in the league, (losing at Tilbury tut tut) and then being dumped out of the FA Cup at the Prelim stage!!!! Didn't you once make the 3rd round proper not too far back, or was it the 2nd? whatever it was it was NOT the Preliminary round!

Oh well, another FIVE goal win for Edgware:) to say we outplayed Raunds would be an understatement, we could have had TEN just as we could have had TEN against Ilford last Saturday.

A slight blip at Waltham Abbey on Monday, but they are no mugs and we were off our game, still onwards and upwards!

Looking forward to our league meeting with you soon, I have a feeling you may go home upset that night!

The really bad news for the rest of the league is that 40 goal midfield legend Richard Morton is READY to take his place in the side afer injury....WATCH OUT Ryman 1 North!

...

They were GREAT to us last season for our league match and when they hosted the SSML Challenge Cup Final.

I would like to see Tring go up, they have a nice ground which I am sure would be ok to go up, though may need a little work behind the goal with the tree.

Sounds like as you say "a cracking cup tie"

This sounds like a great tie and I think it attracted one of the biggest crowds of the day, if not the biggest, of 406.
Does anyone want to bet against Football Man being at the Potters Bar v Langford replay on Tuesday.

AWK. It was a fiver to get in and a quid for the programme. Excellent value for money considering the action.

Stotfold appear to have a large group of players who migrated to them from Potton in the summer, including the gaffers son. Very physical side (as they were at Potton) and a lot of screaming and bitching on the pitch which is a shame. Potton looked really woeful at the back and it was only a matter of time for the flood gates to open, especially when they went 4 up front(!!) in the second half to chase the game.

Paula. Don't get too upset, we were dumped in the Extra Prelim by Concord who won 4-0 at Wivenhoe yesterday. The FA Cup is a nice comp to be in and can bring in a bit of money, but it isn't the end of the world to be out of it. Look at the clubs who have a nice run in The FA Cup, when they eventually get dumped out their league form always slumps.

There's everything else to play for this season for you and if I remember you didn't get off to a great start last season but caught up well. That division will always see the top sides take points off each other and you'll be ok I'm sure when you get in your stride. A good club with excellent facilities you should be proud of the way they have conducted themselves since Kingy's departure. Chin up.

Nine players in total, I believe.

Wader, did a chap called Blowers play on the left for Potton? He scored a good goal against Romford in the last round but whinged his way through the game from first whistle to last, moaning every time he didn't get the ball or every time a team mate didn't make the run to where he passed it.

Football Man - Where did you go yesterday out of interest, were you at an FA Cup tie. I expect you're at Barkingside v Hanwell Town this afternoon.

Is that the final table with the start of this seasons table?
