[quote=Chatham Gary Another worry is our increasing injury list. Are we simply unlucky, or is it a fitness/training thing.

Chatting to an ex special forces friend last night, they would run on a sandy beach for up to an hour, 4 or 5 times a week, and he admitted that extra training gave him legs of steel. I have heard this type of thing was done by Brighton players on Brighton beach. Perhaps LD could get the lads down to Gravesend prom and jog on the beach there!!!

This wouldn't be a good idea as it is in the public eye, meaning the club may have to have permission to do this? Though I do recall reading that in the 1950's the manager filled some of the car park with sand and set up an obstacle course for the players to complete which may be more feesable.

It amazes me that we talk about tatics, correct poisition, amount of injuries we have, After watching the Fleet for years now, I can confirm we only use one side of the pitch, the side the manager is standing, we never pull wide, stretch defences apart, we just leave a massive piece of grass for the opposition to bang the ball into, and attack us,On saturday time after time after time we tried to pump the ball down our left hand flank and into a crowded area, even when we won the ball off a opposing defender on our right side, we kicked it left without even looking, giving it away time after time, for them to clear it easily.

Our keeper is inclinded to kick from the right hand side of his area but to Daish in his dug out ,no matter what direction we are kicking, the whole team moves over to that side, leaving us vunerable down the other flank again.Tyan seems to be a very good keeper from what I have seen, but even there fans on sat could see he could only kick it one way, and a lot of the times that was out of play.

I would like to see Nade play in the centre of midfield, taking control and passing the ball down both flanks,to our forwards. We need a leader in midfield in my opnion.

Whinge over frown

Will be all forgotten if we win Tuesday.:)
