Good thanks mate. Beat Whyteleafe 3-2 in their 1st league match. Were 3 up after half hour. 2nd half very much backs to the walls as they came at us flying but great win really considering the team have only been together around 5 weeks

Good start Guffs, Yes went to Guildford last night, they had a few changes from when we play'em and looked a bit stronger for it I thought. Defensively looking very good, Reading had a couple of chances early on but after that could not break them down, but matched them for most of the game.

 

Reading keeper at fault for 3 goals likes to flap at crosses and gave away a pen too.

 

Guildford took their chances well and could be right up thre all season.

You must be the only non league armchair football fan.

Can you remember what the ground looks like on a first team match day as it seems it has been a long time since you have been to a Dorking game.

 

Nothing like supporting and going to watch a local team play, keep it big man.

 

Should get my first glimpse of Guildford City when they take on Horley Town in a few weeks. Not to far to travel from my new home. Would be good to see them progress being such a large town.

So you could say you were very similar to that talk sport presenter who says he is a Liverpool fan but goes and sees Everton play the whole time.

Teflon - You saying that Dorking are not good enough for Bookham to merge with. That is no way to talk about your landlords!!!!

 

What about - Dorking, Bookham, Dorking Wanderers & Mole Valley Predetors United FC

 

Now that would be a good set up and might get break the over 100 people crowd for games.

Talking of Yoof teams. I hear there is a new Mole Valey Under 18's Girls starting this season. The squad looks AWESOME, allegedly !

 

.... and NO - They ain't playing on the hallowed turf of Meadowbank. They're allegedly going to a ground with a FAR better bar, if that's at all possible !
