MISA's role

Now that MISA does not run the catering or the bar what will be their role now. My suggestion is that they could concentrate on the commercial side of the club until a commercial manager is found. There are plenty of sponsorship deals still to be completed with most of the team not having a shirt sponsor. There is also the hospitality suite which again is not being used to its full potential.

If this is not viable why don't MISA sponsor some players shirts. Instead of giving the club a contribution of £500.00 why not sponsor a couple of players. At least it will look better on the player profiles and programme if more spaces are filled. It wouldn't cost anybody any extra money.

I ordered a shirt for my grandson last year, it took about 3 months to actually get it. Not impressed. Season was half over.

If MISA members can contribute out of their own pockets to start the catering, why cant the management during the close season. Nice new shop bu--er all in it, not even a sign showing its there. MORE money lost, its not rocket science is it. Put new shirts on display at the first game of the season THEY WILL SELL. Who wants to walk into the shop and then have to order a new shirt and pay up front for the privileage. Its a bloody joke, what other club would run a club shop like this. No wonder people are saying there is a rift between MISA and the club, its probably pure frustration.

and i gotta say there was a kids shirt in the shop that i WAS thinking of buying but was told £35, FOR A [****!!****] 6 YR???? OLD I PAYED THAT FOR MINE and mines 2 yrs old now! thats an absolute joke yet i could have bought an adults margate jacket for £25 where is the sense they don't seem friendly in there either almost like it is too much hard work to break a smile and help fans interested in margate memorobillia(OMG im sure that has been spelt SOOOOO WRONG!!) so lets look at this logically, if i'm not mistaken its £50 for a child to sponsor a game yes? gets to warm up with the players, parents get use of sponsors lounge, free programme AND little un gets free strip, might as well just pay extra 15 notes and sponsor a game which is what im thinking of doing now!

I wish this club and its fans could all be on the same side but feel that sometimes as fans we are not appreciated, i remember when we played away at ashford for god knows how long we were told that there would be a possible free game for maybe a voucher system for those that trvelled to ashford every week,,,never happened!!!

That from Vicki when I asked (to be fair to her she did ask the bloke from the shop at the time)

That really sums up the business side of the club. An utter shambles.

As the shop manager I would like to comment on these criticisms.

I am entirely in the hands of the shirt manufacturer when it comes to supply, in spite of my best endeavours he is never quick to fill orders at the best of times. I don't have the capital or the space to carry a complete range of all sizes and you can bet on it that when the stock I have ordered arrives it will be the wrong sizes! Also I do not set shop prices for the shirts and all profits go directly to the Club!

I asure you that I am quite a cheerful guy but have a quirky sense of humour which you lot probably don't appreciate but I am too long in the tooth to change!
