Last Night

Just wanted to say how much Mel and I enjoyed seeing everyone last night (even if they did spend most of the time reminding me how long it had been since I'd last been up!).

It was great to see you all again - and if I missed you i'm sorry and i'll catch you next time!!

And thanks for making Mel feel so welcome and at home - another Town supporter!!

Great win and three good goals. Shame about the bloody silly substitutions that almost cost us dear....

Jim Cuneen, now there's a name from my past !! How are you Jim, still living up near Stroud, I'm the other side of Weston SM now and still haven't seen either Enfield play for way too long - I think we last met at Wokingham in the early 90's.....? Hope all is well with you, maybe we should try and set up a reunion match sometime with Messrs Wisbey, Martin, Hopkins, Ambrose & Co !!!

Best wishes

I'm really well thanks Steve and now live in Quedgely on the ouskirts of Gloucester with my partner, Mel, and her daft dog Daisy. All of the above were there!!

Great first hour. Dickie headed home a Hall corner after 37. Hall smashed home a free kick after 49 and Richard Georgiou chipped over the keeper a la Noel Ashford after a great move to put us 3-0 up on the hour. Jim them took off Hall and Hammatt and that destroyed the balance of the side and we struggled after that. They pulled one back and if it hadn't been for Hasler we could have found ourself in deep doo doo....
