M.I.S.A Statement

Bernard E Overton, Chairman MISA.

Whilst it is true that MISA felt that they were unable to run the social club effectively with the introduction of the 5 a side centre it was agreed that this be handed back to the club with CURRENT licences in force.

It appears that MFC are not conforming to these licence requirements and both Tam and myself are waiting for written confirmation from MFC that they in fact abiding by these requirements, and, if we have not recieved this conformation by the end of today we shall withdraw both liquor and entertainment licences as we value these to much to loose them.

As to the outside catering units whilst we agreed to carry on running these, we had to stipulate certain areas where we felt MISA needed full and not passive control. One of these being donations of profits after expenses, what MFC fail to enlighten you on is that to start the season 4 MISA individuals provided the necessary funds to purchase stock for which, at this time have not been reimbursed. Because MFC came cap in hand, MISA have still recently donated £500.00 even though this sum is greater than the profits made, so effectively until these weekend takings are processed MISA is in the RED.

It was agreed that MISA would, with every donation provide a statement of account, unfortunately due to the time of year our treasurer is on holiday and therefore these are running late.

As far as I am concerned MISA have always run a tight ship and have NEVER failed to pay any of their bills on time. So consequently when MFC took over the social club and from Saturday the catering units the slates are clean nith NO outstanding debts.

There is in my opinion no division forming between MISA and the MFC board but just differences of opinions.

HONESTY above all else will resolve any outstanding differences.

Kind regards

Bernard E Overton.

Chairman MISA.

Sounds like pot calling kettle black to me . Club make one mistake and Inland revenue straight on their backs demanding closure and MISA unable to show accounts due to someone on holiday and straight away withdraw consent.
