Northwood's next opponents are Enfield Town, who come to Chestnut Avenue this (Tuesday) evening for a Ryman One North fixture. Woods were unable to play the fixture yesterday - when the division's other sides were in action - due to the Northwood Carnival taking place in Northwood Park.

 

Woods have only once before met Enfield Town competitively - we won on that occasion - but the E's have narrowly missed promotion in each of the past two seasons, losing twice in the play-offs, so a tough game can be expected tonight, when Colin Payne can be expected to reshuffle his side.

 

 

Anyone spot the big OG on this one....SCHOOLBOY ERROR!!

a nice ground. £10 for entrance though with a programme. hmm. the food was very expensive, and crap as well. well played town, although nearly threw it away at the end. dickie getting better and better, and Charlie really growing in confidence. No David Allen or Kev Stephens at the game.hmmmmm. also heard that ashely harris has been releases after two dodgy games for northwood. is that true?

Well done everyone, good result. Bit disturbed to hear peoples views on the substitutions though. We still just don't seem to be quite getting the hang of it. Still, 3 points is 3 points.

 

Strange to hear about the food. I seem to remember from our pre-season friendly in our very first year, hundreds of years ago,(2-2?) that they had a very good burger bar. Very good bacon rolls if memory serves.

 

Oh, and I hope you didn't make too much noise! grin

should have eaten the hot food from the bar matey...

£1.25 for an excellent sauasage in a roll - no complaints there....
