Believe Scarborough have reformed as Scarborough Athletic and are playing in the North East counties league. Think they're playing home games at Bridlington Town.

That really isn't good at all.

Doesn't look good for Northwich Victoria either. Club could well be playing their last ever game on Saturday as the club is likely to go into liquidation in the next couple of weeks.

It`s getting worse every season, Hampton & Richmond are another one in danger and Waltham Forest must be worried after Saturdays game. 49 people were there which apparently included 20 officials which just about paid for the ref and his assistants but left nothing to pay for Arlesey Town`s travel expenses.

The leagues are too big and just aren't local enough. Most clubs try to compete at levels they can't afford to, in the hope that one day they will be able to afford it, but rarely can.

The problem starts in the football league with too many clubs per division and too few fans coming through the gates, it all filters down through the leagues and eventually the only sustainable leagues are the county leagues.
