Just to say thank you to all the fans, players and officials of Margate Football Club who sponsored Teresa Walker in the Thanet Half Marathon this coming Sunday on behalf of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

 

Amount currently stands at over £410

 

Teresa has decided to run in a Margate Football Club shirt to advertise the club during the run

 

The Margate Royal British Legion club are also very pleased to be sponsoring the Margate - Tonbridge game this coming Saturday

Guys, would just like to say what a fantastic bunch of supporters we have ! Seriously, good luck to Teresa and thanks for wearing the shirt. If only we had more supporters like US in football it would be an even better football world !

 

And yes we can blow our own trumpet now and then !!!

My thanks are given again today after the British Legions sponsored game.

 

The ladies had a brilliant time and were treated to an excellant meal and service...thanks Jackie.

 

They thoroughly enjoyed the game and Charley's hat trick.

 

We will be back

 

Finally, Teresa's Poppy Appeal total for tomorrows Thanet Half Marathon now stands at £500.
