Todays game

I was standing in front of the guy who was dressed like an indian woman, I think it was a stag do, they were quite funny at times, but the steward was none to pleased about him jumping on the pitch after one of the goals (he was actually pushed on there by one of his friends)

That was after Jacko's goal, if I remember rightly. Mystified me, as did the synchronised jumping on the spot after Mark Bentley's opener.

PS Re. Mr Bentley. Before too long a number of us have got to take him out & get him absolutely plastered. Then, just when he's out of it, but still capable of putting pen to paper, Fordy or Brian appears with a new contract, signing him up for the next decade. If we don't do this one of the full time boys will be in for him before we know what's hit us. Also worried about Aldershot coming in for The Duke again, if his contract's up, too, at the end of the season - same tratment for him perhaps, but it will probably cost a small fortune to get him in the required state.

PPS Sobered up yet, BB?

Almost right Graham. The push ups were after Mark's second goal.

Thw players should be at the ground on Thursday so you can begin to put your plan into effect.

Just make sure that they are sober by Saturday though.

Another good win for the boys, although we do try our best to throw it away! I must disagree when you say it is good to see Parker back though. I don't think he was anywhere near conference standards in his first spell at the club, and he is nowhere near the right foil for Stadhart. On a brighter note however, it WAS excellent to see Macca back, and it will be good to see the "Bruise Brothers" starting at Doncaster on Saturday, and the rest of the season. We need Macca and Strouts to get those tackles in, because the defence looks well shaky at the moment. So some positives, some negatives, but the most important thing - 3 points.

Referee was for me the best at Stonebridge Road this year. Excellent Ref who had a smile and laugh at the crowd at times but who was really good on pitch.

The game was great again for anyone without heart problems! Cracking game which could have had any score possible if it werent for the Burton strikers trying to look like North Kent Sunday League players on a bad day!!!!!! Xlnt result well played every fleet player good team performance even if at times it was indeed very shaky!!!!! Still good to come through those games and hope to grab a point or 3 up at Doncaster!!!!! You never know!!!!

Up the Fleet

ps: great crowd and well done drummer boy!!
