Hertford Result

I thought that was fairly decent performance considering the state of the pitch and also considering the players we had out. Impressed with Hodges - worked well for the team and I thought that Sammy and Deano were good on the right. Seemed in control of the match until 60-80 minutes when we sat back and allowed them to come at us.

Game should have been over before half-time though -we missed a lot of chances.

Sammys goal was great, how did he score from that angle???Bubb had another stinker, daly was near to his best again.Hodge had a decent game, and I didnt trust Blake with the ball today. We were killed in the second half but somehow survived, didn't really think it was a penalty,i might be wrong.A much needed win and other wins went our way-promotion cumin our way-maybe????

First half was easily ours, but we lost the plot in the second half.3 points though, and even if it wasn't that convincing, it was 3 points more than some other contenders got. We definitely play better at home, so here's to a good crowd and a good result next saturday---when we could get into second place.

Slough, I know we won...but we should have sown this up by half time...so many misses.....

Well done the Hertford , they did not give up and pressed Slough hard in the second half....

A very friendly club ! and nice people....hope you get out of the relegation drop !

Well done Hertford......

"Daly near his best" you've got to be joking.

Exposed through lack of pace and lucky not to be sent off

as he was the last man when their forward outpaced him again

and would have been ono on one agains't Blakey.

Anyway we got the important 3 points, thought that Sammy was man of the match.

Thought Hertford's number 4 (Leo Turner) looked a good player---he got involved everywhere. Also interested that the ref added no injury time at all--despite several injuries of sorts.Made no difference to this game, but had the score been different it would have been unfair to someone.
