at this level with no easy games and no mugs to savage..... devil

 

thus far we have looked as good as our opponents if not better....and although its a massive positive that we are making them we are missing chances galore and in the heady heights of the ryman prem we cannot do that.....the first half today was easily the best football we have played this term but we missed at least 4 good chances and more in the second half when swifts were livelier than they had been thus far.....missed chances motivate the oppo as we saw against ricay...and we saw it again today at scraley road.....crossy again for me was superb but he missed a hat trick of chances when you would have put yur gaff on him scoring....good urchin turnout again today as well....at least 250... applause

 

now having said all of that... we would have taken 4 points from this weekend without playing and we are just 3 points off the league leaders with a tough 4 games in 10 days under our belts..and a big.. big game coming up saturday against the red hot favourites for the league title chelmsford who drew away at ricay today.....big game..big gate and we need a big result....

 

well done everyone....a good start to the season and on pressure and chances created it could have been better.....much to be positive about and players still settling in but we are off and running..in the pack and the hunt is on... yay

 

we want silverware.... grin

How does this work then? The gate was only 271 - I know Swifts are not well supported but really! Didn't you have 300 at the Ashford game with a gate of 215? grin

Well today they had at least 250 according to UU erm but what can you expect from a team who get a 1000+ v a proper established non league club mid week but can only can manage sub 400 on a Saturday but of course all of their supporters would have of course gone away for the bank holiday weekend much as they didn't have the slightest clue their was a football team in hornchurch when it was an esl also ran side

Oh dear, TRS doesn't see the funny side and then C'mon Ricay decides to have a dig at our club from out of the blue, which looks to have been written in a haste without thought!

 

I've been lucky to see all four matches so far and they have all been very entertaining. The standard of Ryman Premier League football is much higher than the Ryman North and you cannot afford to make too many mistakes, big or small.

 

The attendance at the Ricay game surprised me greatly, as I never thought we would achieve 1000+ until the last game of the season. Derby matches attract neutrals and there were many present that night, along with hundreds of Ricay fans.

i agree with all of that, but two questions, if you'd be so kind.

 

1) could you define "swcecking" and how would one go about "swcecking" a season? honestly intrigued...

 

2) did they serve any food at ricay today, and if so, did you have any?

1) i have been done t'pub any how i'am sure you know exactly what exactly that I mean in reference to fielding teams of vastly differing quality over the duration of the campaign that the team nearRomford had in their conference south season

 

2) We always serve nice grub I think but I was to busy enjoying the bar area ps can we nick some of your barstaff

We have Leyton on Easter Bank Holiday Monday and tickets are already on sale.Leyton have asked for 1500 for that match,it should be a lock out.
