where to start? i will no doubtly be told that i am being harsh or whatever for saying this, again, but it was shambolic again. it is embarressing to stand watching the sorts of performances that have appeared in the last few games. crosses from wide areas can still not be dealt with and it seems as though the simple stuff can't even be done right.

credit to case, ricci and hussey as they kept working, and also to martin williams when he came on but the rest of the side just didnt seem to perform.

after all that was said pre season, i didnt expect to be sitting with no wins from 3 games at home and only 3 points from a possible 12. promotion? i don't think so.

Just 3 words to sum up some of the 'fans' behind the goal!

Remember mattwefc that you are in violation of the basic priciples of the club Managers, Coaches & players charter.

 

1. After a heavy home thumping fans are not entitled to moan.

2. No supporter (no matter how long he's been going or how knowlegable they are about the game) knows anything about football.

3. All fans must pay their hard earned money and clap politely (without muttering) regardless of the tripe their served up with.

That was bloody rubbish. Thought the boro defence was weak but they did look good going forward and their numer 11 was a bit of a handful.

First game back for me and nothing has changed. We started where we left off last season.

The boro will go up but if we want to get in the playoffs we have to play better than that.

At least we have the FA Cup to look forward too!

well, not the start i had hoped for, but the magic of the FA cup is on it's way - maybe this could the game to kickstart the season.

 

Actually, I'm relying on good old blind optimism as this will be my first game of the season and having watched this lot for many seasons that has always worked !!
