Camberley Town 2

 

We had a player sent off for two bookable offences. The first one he booked him for the wrong challenge, he had a hold off him when chasing for the ball (bookable offence) got back and won the ball and the Camberley player went down, ref blew up and booked him.

 

Second I'm not sure about, he slid in and seemed to have caught the left winger. George and the other defenders were certain he dived and from were I watched I couldnt really see.

 

Camb goal was an excellent strike from 40 yards.

 

Second was a penalty and I didnt see the foul. Last kick of the game

 

Krooners deserved the win but 1-0 would of been fair

I have made a VERY BRIEF post elsewhere on this forum.

We lost at home 1 - 3 to Colliers Wood, going down 3 goals in the first 15 minutes, so I'm told.

Glad I stayed at home and cut the grass !

Cove 0-1 Ash United

 

4 or 5 of their players are quite decent and have played at a higher decent level. It didnt show much!! Ash had a hat full of chances to put the game to bed but just the single goal gave us the 3 points.

 

The pitch was the best i have ever seen down at Cove. Very good.

The boys will have to do it without me next week against Camberley in the Fa Cup. On my family hols for a week. Greece

Yeah another defeat for us but a much improved perfomance, players wanting to give their all and the work rate was great.

 

2 mistakes by the young keeper today and after that we play some very good football, hit the bar and had a couple of half chances but needed a goal to get really back into the game.

 

Credit to Mick S. he was pleased he'd got the win but new it hadn't been a easy win, his team should have taken us to the cleaners but I'd like to think we did not let them.

 

Let down by a couple of players today as well who did not turn up !!! which did not help but full credit to the players who showed they want too play for Bookham.

We finally won so I'm back having a biz up with you regulars!! Great result for Bedfont - result of the day I think...

Dorking 1-3 Colliers Wood

 

First look at Dorking this season and it certainly wasn't dull! Three down after 17 minutes, the Chicks were all over the shop. First came from a free kick that deflected off the wall and past the keeper. Two further goals soon followed as the statuesque Dorking defence watched as the CWU forwards danced around them, seemingly at will.

 

Second half and 30 seconds in it was 1-3, game on. To be fair it was the classic game of 2 halves and Dorking wasted so many chances in the second half but gave it a good go with 3 up front. CWU had the odd breakaway but didn't really look like adding to their tally.

 

On the odd occasion the big CWU keeper was called upon, he was more than competent. Good result for them.
