Didn't see Watson there today...he was at Wealdstone though, with his arm still in a cast. Maybe Trotty sent him out on a scouting mission to Tonbridge?

Margate were good today,in controll for most of the game,as said before Jay was outstanding,Horsham could not hit a cows [****!!****] with a banjo,there forwards are crap,overall a good game and the GATE worthy winners,still feel that if Trotty could find another centre back and release Jay into midfield it could only get better for us still UP THE GATE.

Is it a coincidence that we now have two wins with Trotty doing the manager bit from the sidelines. There were a lot of comments after the Chelmsford game about lack of leadership from the sidelines.

Well we certainly cant shake you off at the moment,thats for sure. But come end of season I'm positive we shall have done Ian.(Hope I'm not going to live to regret saying that) Wanna side bet Ian?

Very very good performance from the lads today, in the first half niether side were creating much but it seemed that we were bossing the midfield which is ussually where the game is lost and won. In the second half we never looked like losing our lead, as the defence were very solid through out the 90 minutes, which is why i think Horsham were resulting to long shots as they couldn't get behind our defenders. 2 well taken goals by Side and Pinnock today aswell who i thought both looked good.

 

OVERALL A GREAT DAY AND A GREAT WIN

Yesterday was a good time to play Horsham. Their two main forwards were injured (Rook and Farrell) and Taylor went off in the first half.

 

Wealdstone got hammered again yesterday, so not too much can be read into this weekend's results.
