Town's new striker.

I was intersted to read Ciaran Glennon's match day programme notes on Saturday where he referred to a goal against Ilford by our "new striker" Ozie Foster !

 

I must have been going to different games to Ciaran, as I do not recall Ozie being played as a stiker. The games I have seen ( including Ilford, when he scored a good header coming in from the left ) he has played Left Midfield.

 

If he is a striker, why not play him up front and let Ricci and Bryan feed off his heading ability ? Something we lacked against Sudbury.

 

On the other hand if he can't get in the team up front, why not play a left sided midfielder in the left midfield position ? After all, we do have a squad of 26 players don't we.

I think Ozie played the first few friendlies up front,but didn't really impress.

Maybe he did, but is he the "best" left sided midfielder in the squad of 26 ?

I thought he was signed to be a striker ?
