Bit late now I know Cec, but for future reference ;

 

By Car: From the roundabout by the main Queensgate car park entrance a dual carriageway leads you toward the swimming pool and football club direction. On yout left you'll see the wide outdoor pedestrian shopping walkway and on your right ASDA. At the next roundabout come back on yourself and turn left into ASDA car park. Cross over the dual carriageway at the pedestrian lights onto the open shopping walkway and The Chinese supermarket is almost immediately on your right.

 

From the station, turn right and walk toward Queensgate. this will bring you to the big Queensgate roundabout as above. Carry on walking (ASDA on right) and the shopping walkway is on your left with Chinese Supermarket almost immediately on your right.

 

Who said you need Sat Nav!

Wader - Many thanks, I'm not going till this afternoon so I will be able get some. It will be the second option as I don't drive, Football Man has made that crystal clear on a number of occasions, it was apparently the reason I didn't take the Stony Stratford Town Secretary job this season.

Wader - Do you think you could do me a favour and post or PM me directions from Peterborough station to the prison (walking), it's apparently £6 in a cab which I want to hang onto to buy NeutralFan a pint tomorrow. Can you do it by 12.30 if possible, thanks.

Cec - Come out the station and turn left. Walk to the main road (Bourges Boulevard) and turn left. Walk down here until the first roundabout. Turn left into Westfield Road and walk down here (crossing the road when you can). Westfield Rd becomes Atherstone Avenue and when you get to the roundabout (quite a walk) turn right into Gresley Way and stay on right hand side of the road. At the next roundabout turn right in to Saville Road. At the 'T' Junction turn left and the entrance to the prison is on the right.

 

Remember to take your visiting order and proof of ID (Passport or driving license)
