Not really a lot you can say about this game...both teams were tight in defence with Carshalton having the best of the first half and Billericay the second, despite the home side having a goal disallowed for a pervious foul on Blewitt (apparently, to some Carshalton supporter, the worse decision ever made there in all his 10 years of supporting the team).

I would suspect the heat had the final say as regards the stamina...still unbeaten and looking strong for Monday's local derby.

Don't know what they were complaining about, the ref had his arm up for the foul long before the ball was in the net. The officials were once again poor however, especially the linesman first half who seemed perfectly happy for their keeper to carry the ball out of the area on more than one occasion!

Thought a point was a fair result, and the game was not helped by the heat. Again the ref was happy to indulge the home side's time wasting tactics, left both halfs short of time.

Best chances were a direct free kick from BWG that was pushed over and a nice move that ended with Semanshia unable to keep his shot down when stretching for the ball. Wareham did well on the left wing, and Semanshia did well on the right after coming on at half time

I thought it was a decent result for us, Carshalton looked a solid side, especially at the back.

I thought they shaded the first half, Abbott was lucky to stay on the field after a moronic challenge shortly after receiving a somewhat harsh booking and it was no surprise that Matt elected to take him off at half-time.

I thought we completely dominated the second half, I think the only time they got in our half was for their "goal" right at the end. I thought Dorms and Leon both had good games in the middle of the park and three clean sheets on the trot is a great start for the defence. I'm surprised we didn't see Burbs for the last 20 minutes to give one of the front two a rest before Monday. With Boot still out for a while we need to get Burbs on the pitch.

The ref wasn't great, although I'm told he blew up for a foul long before their guy stuck it in the net at the end. The bookings count was ridiculous considering there was hardly a bad challenge in the match.

We have had a really tough start to the season and come through it well, hope that continues on Monday - hopefully we can battle our way to a positive result. I do think we need to look to bring in someone in a midfield area if we can now that we've lost Gameo.

Looking forward to Monday.
