CSP and Tring still go well early doors!

Not SSML but Edgware are joint TOP of the Ryman league div 1 North!

A 5-0 home win against Ilford has put us joint top with Brentwood Town, two new boys making the headlines in the divison

1 Brentwood Town 3 3 0 0 10 3 +7 9

2 Edgware Town 3 3 0 0 9 2 +7 9

3 Ware 3 2 1 0 7 1 +6 7

4 Bury Town 3 2 1 0 5 1 +4 7

5 Maldon Town 3 2 1 0 5 3 +2 7

Top five and not a Canvey/Dartford/Enfield Town or AFC Sudbury to be seen!

Paula Edgware are above Canvey Island!!!! who lost to Waltham Abbey at home today, we play Waltham Abbey away on Monday so that should be a decent test for us.

Gavin - pleased that you've got your enthusiasm back and The Wares are doing so well, but this is the South Midlands League Forum, not Ryman! Please go and tell them how well your team are doing

LOL, oooh Horace, come on now, I DiD post about the SSML in that message, re CSP and Tring, SO I dont think you can go and say that, as I did say NON SSML when then saying about our game.

Just because you get done by a bunch of slough youth club old boys, isnt that what SYCOB stands for? and you now look at your team who at one stage ran us close for the title languish in in depths of the SSML, whilst Edgware are joint top with Brentwood at STEP 4,

Though its only early days, we ARE great ambassords for the SSML, as Brentwood are for the ESL, 2 leagues that many look down their noses at yet their champions from last season are currently leading the way in a divison with some big names/big budgets and big support.

Sure, we may well fall away and this maybe as good as it gets, but I am goin to enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Sorry that yoru team are doing so poorly, and then you look at Ware who stuffed Dartford 4-0 today, how the hell did Ware only manage a 1-1 draw with Ilford?

Oh, and are you going to tell Paula who comes on here regualry and talks about Canvey to stop posting on here?

The fans focus Ryamn site is crap, sorry but it is, no one posts on there, so I am staying here, talking about SSML and Edgware in the Ryman, hopefuly you can come and join us next season.

OK Gavin - was a bit harsh as I'm totally p*ssed off at how we lost! We will still do well, not worriedabout that, but still think that this forum is supposed to be about SSMFL clubs, not Ryman ones.

I can understand you being pissed off then I come on and wind you up bout our good start.

Ok, but the ryman forum on this site is [****!!****], and I know a lot of the posters on here from last season.

I still check out the SSML results

Ok, if we're talking Isthmian for a moment, then this (from the non-smiley faces Isthmian forum) has to be the NL comeback of the day --- posted by Hendon Steve.

"After 89 minutes and 30 seconds we were 2-0 down to Tonbridge Angels. We turned that round and won 3-2 in the 7 minutes of stoppage time that the referee rightly added on for Tonbridge's timewasting and the injury stoppages."

Always incredibly satisfying a late, late comeback like that - unless it's against you of course!
