I've been scouring the rest of the website (for a change!) and have noticed that the squad is never updated. Now, all of a sudden you've got Young and Hyatt on it although we still dont have a profile on people like Crawshaw, Slinn or Lodge.

 

Sort it out guys!

Yeah, sort it out webbo! Surprised you didn't spot the other omission Helen (C.... C.......).

 

Seriously though, I've been meaning to get some details on there but haven't had time lately (feeble excuse I know) but I'll see what I can do early next week.

 

Good to see you're all looking at the rest of the site!

Rob. I think what Helen and Woody are trying to say is...:

Rob. Through scouring the website, I have noticed the the player profiles page is not oft updated. Recently, Martin Young and Freddie Hyatt have been added, but Gary Crawshaw, Kevin Slinn and Andy Lodge are not present.
I understand that you are a very busy man (I can tell by the fact that you don't get to many games so you must be busy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />). I am also aware of the splendid job you and weebo do on the website. However, I was wondering if the minor point about player profiles could be amended. There's no rush. as I said earlier I understand you're busy. Thanks.

Yes, it is a bit of a mess at the moment but I will have a word with the 'powers that be' and see if they can arrange a squad photo for before the Stortford game so we can get the photos up to date (Naylor's is about 20 years old!). Hopefully before then I will also be able to update the bio's.

I have already told Helen that she can take over it, but with a lot of uni pressure of being an important year, it wouldn't be fair. She wouldn't have time, and if she did have time it would be spent doing revision!

 

I also havn't got the time to do it anymore, like i have told people in the past. I may not be going to uni, or have any revision to do, but i do have a very important full time job, that does need my full time attention, and i'm also on the look out for a part time job so that i can help my mum pay for a mortgage that we can bearly scrape together for.

 

So in that respect, if you want to take it off, i have no problem with that, or get some one else to take over, i also have no problem with that.

 

What i do have a problem with is that how can i do a chit chat for games that i dont go to?

Why would i want to call and ask what happened in the game when the whole idea of the chit chat was supposed to be what i thought about the game, the atmosphere and the players? If i call someone and ask what it was like then it wouldn't be my chit chat, it would be someone else's chit chat and this is why it should go to someone else.

 

i think GHA's chit chat would be good, but the comments about how gorgeous Rob Smith looked and how lovely Simon Martin is, woudn't really go down too well.

Couldn't agree more. I don't think many people around here would like me rabbitting on about Rob Smith's attractiveness and Simon Martin's loveliness or GHA's legs or Craig Mackail-Smith's cuteness.

(That was another joke.)
