as you are proberly aware i do rate bags and yes i admit his attitude does need some work but lets face it you can say that of most players at sometime or another after all how many of the teem were sent off a crittical times last season , bags wasnt one

and i beleave with the corect managerial skills this can be acheived, MW had no such problems

as i said before in my opinion RT is not interested in spending time bringing local lads through infact the odds are stacked heavily against them.

next local casualty lewis played well last year now on the bench

What has got to be taken into consideration here is Trotty has got to prove himself as a manager this yr , last year he was a rookie this time round he`s got to show us what he`s learnt so far and involving fringe players can`t really be included in that to much . He has been set targets and he knows he`s got to reach them this season or it could be Asta la Vista i won`t be back.

Put yourself in his shoes , if it were you then you would want to put out you best side to help you get through the period that is required so it would please your manager , boss whoever you needed to impress at the time and this is why he has sat alot of the fringe players to the side and told them no chance YET , but if he can pull out a season thats going well we`ve got the odd point to play with here & there then give someone a rest and drop a fringe player in im sure he will do it .

Steve Coppell done a simular thing with Reading last year he only used fringe players when he needed them and played his Ressies in the cup matches and it worked great for them giving 1st team players a rest thus they had a blinding season at top flight . All bar Sam Sodje of course but he still got some top level games in now & then . Remember this is the season were he can be judged but not after two games , We ain`t Spurs we are Margate and we should be Proud of that .

Im not against local talent im all for seeing them on the pitch one day but footy is a serious game now and its a very thin line to tread and if you fail your out but you win were all happy . UP THE GATE.

RT knows he hasn't got time to waste(what football manager has nowadays)and he has apparently said words to that effect in the IOTG. From what I understand, and have seen, he has given youngsters the chance to show what they can do and it really is up to them to prove themselves.
