Lionel Gibson 40m

A thoroughly entertaining game that kept everyone fascinated as the goals kept going in. Well done to London Apsa for firing on all cylinders right up to the end. Good pitch and we even missed the downpour that Southend certainly got during the evening ! Good luck at Tiptree !

what about teams that are predominatly english or white,do they not get coverage???

Why do they have to highlight a team because they are asian, surely these people are supposed to be english/british and therefore classed as equals rather than being singled out for special treatment because of their colour

sometimes our loved sport football can work miracles and make up for the diminished responsibility of our politicians.Anything that helps even more, to integrate these minorities into the british society,is more than welcome.look at the iraqui win at the Asian games. On the other side, these so called ethnic minorities must make more efforts in understanding and respecting the way of life of the country where they have choosen to live. All of this, without loosing their heritage and pride of their traditions.

translated into "plebejan"English so c.u.n.i.t.s like that "gnome" can understand ... grin

As for "friend of HP", if you remember correctly, I was the first one to question the fact of whether he/she was even a female and was the first to jump to your defence, true or not? chestram2

coach, you do talk a load of twaddle.

I have a problem with "all" asian, italian, whatever football teams. How can they be integrating when they have their own teams.

Surely intergrating is mixing with the indigenous population.

Also i have a problem with Music awards for blacks and things like that.If you had a music award for white music there would be uproar from our afro carribean brothers.

Yeah the MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) awards, what's that all about? Many of the winners are not even black (Yeah I realise it's about the music not the singers), Amy Winehouse won one recently.

My cousin was even one of the nominees for "Best Newcomer" about 10 years ago and she is from Ireland (Samantha Mumba won it, who by the way is also Irish).

For the record all "great" music originates from black people. From the Blues to Jazz to Soul to Jazz Funk. Even the best disco music was black.

to be honest i have seen white players playing for Apsa and Beaumont and they represent a big community from that part of London. We cannot pretend to be all the same but what we can do is trying to understand and respect each other cultures without prejudices. What might seem strange to you,it's perfectly acceptable by others. We just have to respect that. That's it i don't wanna go too deep into it because it's football and only football and Pele,Garrincha, ian wright, les ferdinand, campbell, ince, des walker, viv anderson, rio ferdinand, tierry henry are all blacks aren't they?

Nothing wrong with it AS but what's the point of a separate awards ceremony? In my opinion ALL music worth listening to is of black origin. Might as well have called it the Music Awards.

Naturally I am excluding Classical to this.
