Not being a fan of athletic track grounds, but i have to say the tannoy was loud and clear, as it was the last time we visited ! Hornchurch...Youre going to have a giggle when you go to the other athletics stadium grin Oh and remember to be quiet - They dont like to annoy the neighbours sleep

Nice clubhouse and facilities in general, but it really is a pain watching at athletics grounds.

Call me fickle, but I think if my team played at one, I'd probably end up not bothering. Too hard to see what's going on properly. I do appreciate that not every team is lucky enough to have the choice though.

And yeah, the atmos was good.

i love watching footy at the bridge. It would be nice if the track wasn't there as we could make the eastside bigger but its used for local sports and schools,at least there are good views from all around the ground and even though there is no stands either end of the pitch it still feels quite enclosed rather than some athletics stadiums that feel open and wild

Considering how much i hate watching games at athletics tracks ground, i enjoyed my first visit to Hornchurch. Nice facilities, and good atmosphere from both sets of fans.

Was the attendance really 1030? Seemed like less than that to me, although it is more difficult to judge, as there is noone behind the goals.

Whats all this "We" rubbish? Several Chelmsford fans have told you what they think of your postings. You're on your own old son. Lonely isn't it?

Now go and enjoy that "life" you've got that you were telling us all about.
