I have just spoken with him.

 

He has a broken Fib and a dislocated ankle, he's waiting for a slot so they can operate. It's hoped that a plate will suffice and there will be no need for a pin. Whilst under anesthetic they will put the ankle back.

 

But until they can get him in theatre it's pain medication only.
