so what exactly was the attendance last night?,anothers site reports it as 530 while the ryman league site gives a crowd of 1,002. i smell a rat here,ive notified the authorites and the tax man,same old urchins,why dont you people behave in a proper and civilised manner?

hello Richard, it was announced as 1030, and that is correct, please keep those sort of comments to yourself.

quite a few more as it goes because about a hundred more got up the back steps when the turnstyles were jammed and there were 60 odd comps that came through the gates...

anyway... chelmo are only a small club....we're a proppa pub team... grin

Just to shed some light on the attendance mystery (or not), when I phoned the result through to the PA after the game the last piece of info I gave was the attendance of 1030. The young lady who took the call quoted 530 back to me and put the phone down before I could correct her. The line was then busy for the next five minutes and I got thirsty, so couldn't be @rsed to try to get back to her any more! Don't know where the league got 1002 from though!

The problem with the attendances is all media outlets take the figures, scores etc., from the PA.

 

Us included - that is why the figure is currently wrong on this site as well.

 

I will get it corrected here - but I cannot get the figure corrected on other sites. Although Richard, please feel free to email any other site that you see it wrong upon and ask them to update their figures.

Meant to add -when the PA get it wrong, then so does everyone else - this is not the fault of Hornchurch or any other club.

 

Even if Kel had managed to get through to the PA again, they would have probably already have sent the info out.
