would agree with you on that point just the fact that those two were the last of any quality to play for Slough.

we were very privileged to have watched top quality and in there own right top class professional players

Now 26 played under Wilkinson, 1 win, 4 draws, 21 lost, average points per game down to 0.27/game

 

Also been the worst start in the last 7 years (info from Nathans site) for the first 4 games of the season:

 

01/02 4 points

02/03 10 points

03/04 7 points

04/05 7 points

05/06 1 point

07/07 3 points

07/08 0 points.

 

And this is in the "easiest" (lowest) leauge over these years.

 

Somthing needs to happen quick before the situation is unrecoverable - even Steve Browne did better than this!!!!

Or it could be Ashley Hames fault as in the 53 games since he won against Folkstone we have only won 6 and drawn 7 losing 40!!!!

I don't think its really fair to blame Wilko for any of the lost games under his command last season is it?

Didn't Wilko take the managers job to help us out due to financial constraints i.e. we were skint?

 

And with no managerial experience Wilko has Mark Betts and now Nick Roddis to add the experience/coaching needed?

 

I know the buck stops with Wilko but what good have these two been with all their supposed experience etc?

 

Or is it just plain and simply a hopeless task with the players we've got?

Emma and I were watching another of his TV shows last night which was based in the Czech Republic. Quite different to how we saw him.

For about 3 months he was on Bravo every advertising break promoting his 'Inside Porn' show or whatever it was called.. Fair play to a bloke that looks like Jarvis Cocker.
