I wish I had the healing powers of...

Lee Hodges.

In the two games I've seen him play he's hit the deck in what appeared to be agonising pain. But no! Up he rises as though touched by the healing hand of God to continue the game without so much as a hobble (at Chelmsford last season he sprinted a couple of hundred meters and jumped a barrier twice!).

Is it hardly surprising that when players go down genuinely hurt they are left to roll around for a while before someone checks on them?

It's scum like Hodges who give the game a bad name.

Do you honestly believe Lee Hodges is scum LMU? I can't believe you've come up against much real scum if that's your genuine opinion.

Take a couple of days to get over the defeat, watch us do the same against your other team on Monday (or have you given up on Chelmo now?) and re-think yout position.

Lee Hodges is a wonderfull entertaining player who deserves a more considered opinion.

When we played AFC Sudbury away last season I can remember them complaining bitterly on their Forum about how "physical" we were. They were not used to that style of play in the Ridgeons League where they had played the previous season. We told them that they should stop complaining and learn to play the way successful teams play in Ryman North. I suspect we must adopt the same approach in Ryman Prem. Shame really but that's football.

If you talk to anyone with police or fire brigade experience they will tell you that people who are seriously injured make very little movement! You did not see any rolling around from the guy who broke his leg last night!

Lee Hodges "triple salko" was obviously theatre aimed at winding up the home supporters.

No real harm done no one was needlessly booked as a result.

If the ref had of booked the ricay centre forward for diving then the 3/4 dives after that would probably not taken place.

If players feel they may get a penalty or at the worst a ticking off from the referee then they are going to take the risk. The referees need to learn the full rules again or at least the FA/FIFA/UEFA ETC need to stop changing them every 5 minutes
