AFC Hornchurch 0-2 Billericay Town FT

Oh yes, and the ref was poo. Im not surprised that Macca got booked, he knelt down to do his laces just behind th ball, then got up, moved a couple of feet forward so he was blocking the ball and then started tying them up again. But compare that to the challenge on Gameo, and the blatant 2 footed challenge (that missed), neither of which got cards, and theres something wrong.

An immense performance to take three points away from home against opposition who will undoubtedly be in the shake up come April (well I hope so as i've got money on it) and when considering the away form and poor start last season its a good omen for being in the championship come April

Two cracking strikes from outside the box

Have to agree that Macca deserved a booking as he was time wasting and preventing a free kick from being taken but their player who kicked the ball against him also deserved a yellow card who dissent for kicking the ball against him but can't really expect that clown of a ref to do his job properly

On the subject of injuries when is George Lay likely to be back

And not to mention the refs failure to give your player a red card for blatent handball when our player was clean through on goal and also when simon parker was through on goal and pulled back in possibly our only decent venture into your half in the second half.Basically the officials were as someone earlier said were POOOOOOOO

We're in agreement UM. Not sure about the handball incident, but there were a couple of times when i muttered to myself 'got away with one there'. There were a couple of throw in/corner decisions that were blatantly wrong in front of me, but i heard the Hx fans howling at a couple in the second half, when it was right in front of them, which presumably favoured us. I dont think the officials had a massive bearing on the result last night, but unfortunately poor officiating is something that has to be put up with in non league footie.
