Played for England's U21s tonight.

 

Q. Is this the first time a former ESL player has gone on to achieve International honours for England?

 

i.e. Players who have played in the ESL before they played for England, thus excluding the likes of Kerry Dixon etc.

 

* Kights is a former Basildon United player!!!

Yes, I am certain you are right, Hookey in terms of English or Domestic honours, I can never be certain if Steven Grant of East Ham United played for Barbados ? - a tremendous achievement for Michael - he also played for the ESL in my Testimonial Match against Canvey Island on July 21st 2002 and scored in a 3-0 win - sorry but had to get that one in !
