I wasn't at the Berks and Bucks cup match on Tuesday, so I'm not going to comment on that.

 

I just wondered what the view was on achieving promotion? It would be good to have you back, just to make Christmas and Easter fixtures a bit more interesting if nothing else.

 

With the news that Hornchurch have signed Vinnie John from Stortford, they seem to be making a serious bid for it?

fitzgerald is a good player and I hope he does well at Watford...he was a bit unlucky because Chelsea were in for him as well and my sources said that they were going for him...obviously not...

 

as for the game tommorrow...well...we kept fitzgerald quite at our place and I cant say we're sorry he's gone but they'll still be the same old 90 minute terriers and will start good favourites against our rag tag and bobtale reserve team which is all thats fit....

My view is simple. If we play to our potential, don't get too many injuries or suspensions, and bring in the new defender Browne has talked about then we are in with a cracking shot at at least the second position. The one thing I don't think we will do is bottle it because of the pressure.

Well we all want promotion and we can get it. It's now time for everyone to stick together now, whether you like Browne or not - that''s irrelevant, it's time to get behind the team.

 

We have some good players and must win a lot of games - especially as Hornchurch have now signed Vinny John as he will probably score goals for fun in this division.

 

Lets have a real go fo iyt - go to Hetford and cheer on OUR team.

"The one thing we won't do is bottle it bcos of the pressure" can't agree there----We havn't coped well with the pressure matches over the last few years, ---I don't see Browne hacking it is this department if we get close at the end.

I am very confident we WILL get promoted,looking at wealdstones tough matches at home and seeing 70% of there remaining fixtures are away i think they will faulter,hornchurch have bottled it and if they loose tomorrow there season is almost over,i now think the problem may be harlow,we still have to play them so its up to us to fight them off and not up to them to slip up.Another late challenger may be uxbridge,if they win their game in hand on us they will only be 3 pts behind us.Its gonna be a bloody scary, nailbiting and exciting finish to the season-thats for sure!
