apparently had a blinding pre-season , because he stuck at it took the abuse from alot of people and is getting there slowly but getting there just like Lebrel did and look where that has got him . Sorry mate but Bagley got his chance when he came on and he blew it , you have to take these chances by the scruff of the neck and he didn`t , todays local even says Bagley walking around shaking his head for a while after bad clearence so he knew he done wrong , what more can be said .

Good luck to Nick Bagly. Not my favourite player. Poses to much for me instead of chasing back when he's lost it.

Perhaps he will be in Fridays paper as the latest great signing from Margate by super Jim.

Who else can we lose to fund a goal scorer( "Side" maybe )?.

Oh dear here we go again, RT’s management in question, ok Coleman and the others on lone lets face it they are not our players on a months loan only!!!! With their club option over them. Bagley in fact is gifted but needs to be developed and managed properly, RT not a chance of that happening,

RT you will continue to make mistake after mistake develop our players manage our players understand fundamentals.

Get a defender you are to old and your distribution is poor time to hang up the boots!

Stop blaming everymen else you must manage your team not play in it your own dressing room will continue to suffer if you continue to play.

Get a defender not on loan for the shot fix. Get MW on your team bench and pass responsibility for the reserves down he may with his proved experience be able to help you. He develops and mentors our players you seem to struggle taking them to the next level. Next casualty Axon to RFC.

Hi bbob here new to the forum , i have been reading with some interest and i personly think tqa is spot on with his post .

i know some of the teem and it is obvious the lads wanted bagley to stay .

last season bagley played the equivilent of 3 full games and scored 2 along with a good number of asists.

pre season already set up a good number of goals at least 3or4 for pins alone,i agree with tqa is RT realy interested in bringing our home grown lads through, i dont think so i saw bagley score 2 back to back hatricks for the reserves last season and he was outstanding ,how has RT lost this potentual

I guess nobody on here really knows the full truth of whats happened and why. But i do think the club shoots itself in the foot over and over again with local players.

And its not just those running the club a lot of fans seem to think that local players are never any good and slate them at the earliest opportunity. The goal on saturday could not just be blamed on bagley. It was a great shot from way out.On another day SCS might have saved it!

I think the lack of local talent coming thru at Margate is a huge problem for the club.

SHORT TERMISM is not a great idea if the club really wants to develop. In the LONG TERM the club has to give local young players a chance.

And if you were a promising 18 or 19 year old, living in the area would you really want to sign for Margate FC as it is now?

maybe that answers everyones question then Jeff , if we are the 4th club to let him go then maybe there is a doubt , might not be over his footy but over his temprament and if you have bad attitude not saying he has but if he has then some people don`t want that around . Up the Gate.

im not saying RT didnt spot his talent i just dont beleive he knew how to ues it, for example last season he was voted man of the match on one game and then benched the next!

Quote by RT in the local paper was" his skill level is unbeleavable"

then released by the club one week later

all players move around thats no different to any of the other lads in the teem but how is it that we can keep them at margate under MW but as soon as they come under RT it all goes wrong lets face it its not just bags there been many others including Barron who scores 16 from 16 under MW befor RT failed to keep him prohaps we would have sighned him quicker if he was from Gravesend.

sory if i sound a bit angre but it is Margate fc and i beleave we have local talent but a manager who is not interested in it

From my perspective as I have said before a manager does have to make the decisions he thinks are right, what makes me wonder is the ability to be forward thinking with young players, loan deals are ok, but are in reality only a short term stability platform. It is true from my own experience of last season MW and his team are

1. Progressive

2. Understand player development & player needs

3. Are very good at their job

Maybe the first team needs a qualified coach especially at RP level I may be wrong but I do not think this is the case for the first team, like wise I think it is critical a manager manages at this level, tactically and from a decision making point of view alone.

I know Bagley and again I have to say this is a bad call from RT he has a great deal to offer if managed correctly. You just cannot openly blame a player like RT has seemed to have done in this case. TQA is right regarding the loan issues and the defender issue RT must take time to listen to the people with experience at the club and will be better for it I am sure, if Bagley does come to Ramsgate and JW & his team can develop him it is a gain for the Red side of the Island.

How can you say its a gain for Ramsgate. He hasnt produced the goods on a regular level over here & he HAS been getting more & more chances to prove himself lately. He didnt take his chances when they came to him. What makes you think a move back to Ramsgate will be a gain for either him or the club.Trotty I'm sure didnt let him go for one misdirected header. There surely must have been more to it than that.

When you watch Bagley closely on the pitch,& I'm not talking of his footballing form,he does seem to ignore those experienced around him who seemed determined to help & improve his game. Why would his attitude to listening & learning suddenly be any different at Ramsgate.

Maybe if he listened more he would still be here & be a better player because of it.

Anyway I heard it was Nick who walked away rather than being asked to leave. But then again he would say that wouldn't he.

We don't know the ins & outs of what really happened(though I would guess that they just didnt get on more than anything else) so we shouldn't be judging Trotty in this instance without knowing the facts.

I think the loan deals for Akinde and Coleman ar for 12 months so that is not too short term.

I also think Bagley had talent, but he is one of 4 similarish players-Moir,Axon,Coleman.

From what i observe-Coleman is by far the best. You can't realistically have 4 players for one position (does question why so many signed in first place).

RT has to make decisions .I don't always agre with his decisions, but can see where he may be coming from on this one.

Players have to be good enough, and frankly, whilst a few have shown signs; no-one has been absolutely good enough to consistently force their way into the team. Thus RT has to get players in from outside.

We all agree we need a central defender;but there are'nt any good enough 'under development' so RT has to go 'outside'.

Youth is great, but not 'youth for youth's sake.

RT has a league to win

Cookie you do make me laugh...

What time exactly has he had taking in to account you are so versed in his play, time and time again he has had small periods of a game. come on for just once in your life agree with the basic fact of the argument

MM the load deals were for a month only with 24 hours returning to club notice included if the deal was longer.

Cookie loves Robin should be the thread, would love to hear from BTW on this one. However I bow to your superior inside knowledge and football prowess Mr Cook lol

Has Axon or Morris played a part? Why would that be Mr Cook?

Not good enough, to young inexperienced, not taken their chance oh forgot the chance they have not had yet, then tell me how will they learn. Axon is better than akindie for all to see I would say however he is not as big, akward off balace as him.
